BBL (Broad Band Light)

BBL™ (Broad Band Light) is the world’s most powerful IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device on the market. It sets new standards in treating skin conditions associated with aging, active lifestyles, and sun damage. The light energy delivered by BBL will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate. This process will help your skin to restore itself to its natural beauty, making it clearer, smoother, vibrant and younger looking. BBL energy allows your physician to treat age and sun spots, small facial veins, and many other skin conditions. Your provider’s treatment plan will be tailored to match your skin type and your desired results.

Treatment of:

  • Pigmented Lesions (freckles, age spots)

  • Rosacea

  • Vascular Lesions (cherry angiomas, facial telangiectasia)

Co2 Laser Resurfacing

The CO2 laser directs short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin, precisely removing skin layer by layer. It is the best treatment if you wish to get the most significant results with a single treatment.  If you have time to heal (7-14 days), having this one treatment is like having multiple other non-invasive treatments at once.  It is also the best single treatment for advanced skin damage and wrinkling.

Typically one laser treatment with CO2 laser is recommended. Occasionally, in an area that cannot be treated aggressively, we may need to do more than one treatment to optimize results.

Treatment of:

  • age-spots

  • fine lines

  • wrinkles

  • scarring

  • thinned collagen layer of the face, neck, and chest

  • uneven coloration

  • skin laxity

  • textural irregularities

  • dull tone

Permanent Hair Reduction

Lasers emit a pulse of light, which is absorbed by the pigmentation and blood vessels of the hair follicle. Upon absorption by the hair follicle the light is is converted to heat – destroying the follicle. When the hair follicle is destroyed, it is unable to re-grow hair. Approximately 30-50% of your hair is actively growing at any given time, so multiple treatments are necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Treatment of:

  • Unwanted body hair
