Juvéderm® is a collection of injectable fillers made with hyaluronic acid (HA). Each Juvéderm® filler has its own properties, purpose, and longevity. Juvéderm® products include Voluma XC, Ultra XC, Ultra Plus XC and Vollure XC.
Naturally found in the skin, hyaluronic acid is commonly found in moisturizers because it has a unique capacity to retain 1000x its weight in water. When injected beneath the skin, the gel-like substance instantly helps to smooth lines and wrinkles, soften creases, enhance facial contours, and restore volume that’s been lost over time.
The Restylane family of products is a brand of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, which includes Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne.
Facial injection treatments are used to help diminish wrinkles while restoring volume and fullness in the face and hands. Each is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid specifically formulated to act like your body's own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. Each Restylane product is designed for a specific purpose.

What do I need to do before my treatment?
It is important that you are healthy and have not recently had an illness or a fever. If you have taken antibiotics or had dental work done within the last two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment, please call to reschedule. Avoid all blood thinning medications (medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, Excedrin, St. John’s Wort, vitamin E, fish oil) for two weeks prior to the procedure, with permission from your medical provider. Please do not drink alcohol during the 72 hrs prior to your appointment.
Do not stop any prescribed medications without receiving permission from the prescribing provider.
Please note that bruising is possible. Plan to have your treatment approximately two weeks before any large events, holidays, or vacations.
What do I need to do after my treatment?
Avoid make up and lipstick for 24 hours. Do not smoke for 24 hours following lip treatment.
